Adam Blanton is a Managing Partner and Security Consultant with Essential Elements. Blanton graduated with honors from the Historic Black College and University; Central State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Blanton is a decorated veteran police officer with over a decade of diverse experience to include Field Training Officer, Drug Recognition Expert, NHTSA SFST instructor, Primary Law Enforcement Trainer, and Emergency Vehicle Operations Instructor. Blanton has spent time as a Federal Task Force Officer assigned to his local field office of the FBI as a Behavioral Analysis Unit and Behavioral Threat Assessment Center liaison. Blanton serves as one of less than 75 Master Trainers in the United States Department of Homeland Security’s National Threat Evaluation and Reporting Program. Blanton maintains unencumbered board certification as a workplace violence threat specialist and criminal profiler.
In addition to these board certifications, Blanton holds certification as a Realistic De-escalation Instructor and Force Science Analyst throughout the renowned Force Science Institute. Adam maintains an unencumbered nursing license with IV certification in both the State of Ohio and Indiana. Adam has served as the commander of a high-level emergency response team with both corrections and patrol responsibilities. Blanton is a proud graduate of the FBI-LEEDA leadership series and is a veteran supervisor with a focus on transformative and servant leadership.
This diverse experience in both the boardroom and classroom, has given Blanton the acquired set of skills to traverse the difficult legal and litigious landscape that organizations find themselves in today. Blanton has founded and developed Threat Assessment teams and protocol for the public safety sector and private enterprise throughout the United States.
